Last weekend in Dubai of the 30th GULF NEWS conducted Fundrive deserts. In addition to the 600 registered vehicles (all with 4x4 drive), 50 Marshall road. From 07:30 clock was then the whole pack one by one sent to the desert journey. Since many participants were never on sand, it was not long had to be dug out of us to marshal the first sand victims. I do not know how many cubic yards of sand on that I I shoveled a Friday. But the happy faces of the desert newcomers, whose vehicles were brought into motion again, it was worth to help them. I have also not much experience in this regard but as a navigator with a very experienced desert drivers, we had an excellent Marshall team.
The trip started after an extensive open-air breakfast about 40 km southeast of Dubai. After about 120 km almost exclusively on sand, we reached shortly after 18:00 once again the target. There was still TOYOTA serves a full dinner.
After a very long and eventful Day I was dead tired at 22:00 clock back at the hotel.
